I. Sinopsis
Octavio, who had cut all family ties many years ago, returns to his hometown upon the death of his uncle Fernando. There he learns that he may inherit his uncle’s wealth with the condition that he marry a young woman named Ana Cristina. Ana Cristina is a beautiful, kind person but Octavio quickly develops animosity towards her after being misled to believe that she is a gold-digger who seduced his uncle. Ana Cristina responds to his ill-treatment with equal hostility and thus begins the intense love-hate relationship between the two.
