I. Plot
‘Father Courage’ is set in Argentina in the 1950s. It tells the story of ‘Coraje’, the leader of a three person group of hooded bandits who steal from the rich to help out the poor. ‘Coraje’, after hearing that he was blamed for the death of a respected man in the town of ‘La Cruz’, decides to impersonate a priest in order to find the true culprits and clear his name. However, clearing his name might be his greatest challenge yet as he battles against the real culprits and his growing attraction for Clara, daughter of the deceased, murdered man and member of the church he infiltrated…
