I. Sinopsis
Florencia Lagos was a happy young girl. She is daughter of a proud breeder of thoroughbred horses and owner of a large estate. She lived there with her four siblings and parents. But the highlight of her days were always spent with Eduardo, the son of her nanny and her bestest friend whom she loved very much. However, everything changed when a mysterious woman, Paulina—her father’s new assistant—arrived. Her mother died and her sister was accused of murdering her. On top of that, when Paulina witnessed Florencia and Eduardo innocently kissing each other, she accused him of sexual assault and Florencia’s father promptly shipped him away to a boarding school in the USA. She didn’t hear from him since. Her sister was placed in an asylum and her father decided to marry Paulina. Although her life had rapidly changed, things did eventually settle down and the years passed…
15 years later, Eduardo returns to the Lagos estate after graduating from an American College in order to meet his mother and see Florencia again, whom he was unable to contact while he was away. However, he is devastated when he finds out that Florencia is days away from marrying someone else. Worst of all, he finds his mother in her death bed and hears of all the cruelty she was subjected to because of a secret that she knew regarding an unknown person who seems to have a connection with Paulina. Convinced that Florencia and her family are responsible, and angered by all the damage done to him and his mother, Eduardo approaches the Lagos Family with a new identity.
